This sweet little app helps you out with tedious chores such as unpacking lots of unrar archives and put them in a specific location. Say you got one of those great TV Series that’s just too bloody awesome not to watch. However, you can’t stand the pain of first go inside the folder for the series, then move to the first episode folder, start unrar:ing from there, back one step, in to the next episode, unrar from there, back one step etc, and then move every newly unpacked item to one location. Too damn hard.

Tip: You can type your preferred folder in each textfield, source and destination, if the typed destination folder does not exist it will be created for you.
I should mention that this is only handy-dandy if you use a media player that does not support decoding rar files on the fly. I use the beloved Plex application which doesn’t, thus making this little app a bit more useful for Plexanians.

But I am wondering if not Plex (or perhaps VLC) has direct-support for playing rar-packed movies and series.
Can not look that up now – but I do not think it was only true in a dream of mine.
Probably the CPU will get more work to do when playing them.
Or was this just a dream not coming true.
Sure, lot of players do. Probably should have mentioned that I built this specifically to fulfill my needs as I’m using Plex – which as of version .9 has dropped on-the-fly-rar-decoding.
